Highlights

Saginaw County Parks & Recreation Commission in partnership with Friends of Hoyt Park offers the Hoyt Park Youth Summer Baseball League each summer. The vision of this partnership is to enable all Saginaw area kids the opportunity to learn, develop skills and play baseball in a fun recreational atmosphere. For this purpose, we are proud to offer this league for only $25 per child plus a $3 transaction fee.

The 2023 Summer League begins on Thursday, July 6th (due to the 4th of July falling on Tuesday) and will end on Tuesday, August 8th. Boys & Girls ages 5-12 are invited to participate in this 5 week/10 game summer league. The league plays Tuesday & Thursday evenings and offers T-Ball (ages 5-6), Coach-Pitch (age 6-8) and Division Teams. This years division teams are 10U & 12U. Parents are encouraged to coach, assist and be active in assisting their youth to learn the fundamentals of baseball as well as good sportsmanship.

For the last several years, we have had Mike Kolleth donate his time & talents at Hoyt Park taking professional photos of the kids playing in the Hoyt Park Summer Youth Baseball League. A big thank you to Mike for his time & investment in the Saginaw community.
